What all you the statistics lack is the human element. See there are some men who will never go to college because they are coal miners of fishermen or something that is a family tradition that they learn as a child. Where the womens option is to get married and make babies. So what I think happened it that the amount of men who go to college, (the college type) has stayed the same where women have realized they can live alittle before they get married and make babies. So the old notsion that men should get paid more because they have a family to support is still there. Women work because they want to not because they have to in the minds of corprate America.
