catch what happiness you can

I'm drinking coffee and procasinating on research project revision, so it seems like a good time to post a meme. This one is an oldie but goodie, gacked from everybody:

Ask me any question about myself and I will answer it.

Alternatively, you can also ask me one fandom-related question in the comments. This can be fandom specific, general, or about fandom/lj stuff/fic writing/etc. in general.

For the most part, I write and read m/m slash now, but I also have an interest in f/f slash, though it's harder to find. Sailormoon was probably the only fandom I wrote mostly het, though I am thinking of jotting down the Methos/Amanda idea I had after I'm done with my thesis revision. And, not that you asked, but in RL, I identify as bi.

Ah, another slasher, not that there's anything wrong with that. O:) I just happen to prefer het, or het with some f/m/m action. >:)

It's interesting that Sailor Moon was probably the only fandom you wrote mostly het in. I've got a friend that was looking for femslash/yuri a while ago and one of the things people suggested to her, me among them, was Sailor Moon for Neptune/Uranus. Not that I've even seen that far into the series myself. My interest declined quickly with the introduction of Chibi Usa.

*Nods.* I was strictly interested in your reading/writing habits. But, that's cool to know. ;)

A mad hetter, I see! *g* And threesomes are always good. ^_^

Oh, I love that pairing too - my last two fics in SM involved Haruka and Michiru. Chibi Usa was annoying, but I loved the season that introduced Neptune and Uranus - I saw it subbed, and by the time they dubbed it, was able to laugh at how they tried to keep the fem slashy parts out.

*grins* Well, since you mentioned the interest, I thought I'd say that it described myself - though I guess it could pertain to my reading and writing as well! ^_^

*Nods.* Guilty as charged. A number of my male muses are bi? *Bats eyelashes.* It's the only way to get them into the f/m/m moments. >:)

I've only actually seen the first two seasons. Partly it was Chibi Usa's having gotten on my nerves, but partly it was that I got the impression from talk of Outer Senshi and Sailor Starlights that the cast got to big for my tastes.

*Nods.* Perfectly reasonable. I mentioned it thinking of it as pertaining to your reading/writing preferences, but of course there was nothing in your interests that said it didn't apply to you personally. O:)
