Yuletide Letter!
I just got my yuletide assignment, so here goes my
Dear writer,
I am so happy that you are writing a story for me! Really, anything in the fandoms I requests will make me awesomely happy. Optional details are indeed optional! But if you want more details than what I put in my requests, here goes:
I emphasized happy and hopeful endings in my requests, but I am okay with more angst than that (as long as there's at least a silver of hope!) Particularly if you are writing about Sports Night and dealing with Dan's mental health. (I've been diagnosed with depression myself, so a realistic representation of how life seems when your brain chemistry is out of whack won't faze me).
Though I love relationship fic, I tend to skim past the sex scenes, so more character-building/word-building/plot and less porn is the way to my heart. *g* Though as Dinosaur Comics noted, KISSING IS AWESOME. Especially if it's between Nicolas and Phillip in the Point series. *swoons*
Also! I love backstories - in particular, I really wish we got more of Brenda's life in Atlanta and D.C. in The Closer. (Past angst is definitely all right!) Future! stories and crossovers are also very cool.
My major squick is characters in embarrassing situations - I just cannot deal. Other than that, just stay away from necrophilia and I'm good.
I hope you have fun writing, and I'm looking forward to reading.
Happy Yuletide,
Ekaterinn
