narie, why are you never online when I am anymore? And especially when I'm drinking? And especially especially when I've got both "Everyone Loves Jill" and "Can't Stand Me Now" stuck in my head and thinking a good title for a remix will be "Everyone Loves Carl (Except Pete)"? *whinges*
And, oh,
aishuu, I promise I'm looking at traveling options. I'm thinking I'll take the bus - I'm working on my plans this weekend. I can come in on June 3rd right?
Anyway, I don't have much else to say. It's been a long strange week, with moving out of the apartment and all, and I suppose I should just go to bed now. I have to be at work tomorrow morning at 8 and it's already midnight. I'll see you on the flip side, y'all. Night!

...I know this is rude, but what's your budget like?
no subject
My budget is a bit flexible - I still need to save some money for school in the fall, but on the other hand I'll have some cash to play around with it. I'm up for anything neat and/or different, as long as it's not horribly inexpensive. *laughs* That's not exact numbers though, I know...

We should get drunk together again sometime soon, though, and talk more Pete and Carl. And you should write Pete/Carl fic. :)

But drunk together soon sounds good! Though, I'm not sure how drunk you need me to be for me to write Pete/Carl...

Also, once you start in The Libs, it's a slow downwards spiral. It's also unescapable. Nine months ago I was swearing left and right that I would never read RPS and now here I am, with 14000 words to post...
*headdesk* Those boys, they're worse than the drugs they take, in a way.

And, heh, pete and carl. I'll only worry when I start dreaming about them...then maybe maybe you'll see a fic title "Everone Loves Carl (Except Pete) or very possibly "Pete Tells The Rat King To Fuck Off" (because everytime I listen to "Tell The King", I get this image of this huge rat king who is so very interested in what Pete has to say.)
*looks up at the senstence she just wrote* oh, god. this is your brain, and this is your brain on Libs.

I have to say, though, I'd never made that connection between Tell The King and rats... But you must hear the acoustic version of it, it's awesome, and maybe less ratty? Not that I don't think you shouldn't write the one to do with rats, and now that I think about it, I can totally see Pete singing it to the rats in their squat...
As for the trip, the fall is good! I will be here in the fall, and hopefully not too caught up with work and classes; I'm doing thesis research this spring and it's going to get a bit more time-consuming as time passes. :) But yay!

And, yay, fall! (Though, boo, thesis. I did a thesis last year and it was majorly time-consuming indeed.)
no subject
(Christ, I really am a bad influence, am I not?)
Fall will be awesome, then! Looking forward to it, definitely! (The thesis is fine now -- we'll see when I start working exclusively on it and can no longer get paid to do it and so have to add hours of research and hours of paid work and have no free time at all oh noes!)
