I'm not quite sure why, but I'm feeling a bit down today. I'm worried about the future, even though I got some news that means I'll have a bit more money in the future (and no free time, but I just spend all my free time reading fanfic and not doing anything productive, anyway). I'm worried about the recession and whether I'll be teaching next year. And then I feel bad because at least I have a roof over my head and a car and food and access to health care. I'm also missing some people desperately. I'm restless here, and bored at work, but I find it a hard slog to do things that would better my situation.

Blah, I feel like I'm acting like angsty teenager. Emo Ekat is emo! ^^;

Sorry to learn you're feeling down lately. Maybe part of it is winter blues? I know I feel much more depressed in the winter months than in the spring, summer or fall....

Aww. *hugs* Winter malaise EXPELLIARMUS! ...No? Well, perhaps some chocolate then. Or some Geekery (http://questionablecontent.net/view.php?comic=814). On a more serious note, it's tough, that round of teaching/not-teaching/teaching again. But remember that you can only control for so much, and after that, it's really not up to you. Fretting is totally understandable (hey, I still do it all the time), but just ...don't freak to the point of frazzling yourself to no purpose, eh. And if you need some help, please don't be afraid to ask for it. Take care of yourself, okay?

*hugs back* See, that's what magic would be really useful for! *g* Seriously, I'm enjoying what I'm doing now, but I'll really like to be teaching next year in a properly supportive situation (and I'm also a bit scared of it, considering the clusterfuck that was the fall). And I'll try to control my frazzle!
