Oooh, London!

I'm in London right now at an Internet cafe. I had a fantastic time yesterday going to the British Library and the Bristish Museum (BM). Unfortunately, the Japan exhit wasn't open at the BM, but I had fun in its gorgeous Round Reading Room and the Indian, Chinese, Native American, and Islamic exhibits. The Bristish Library was showing off its results from its annual Bookbinding Competion and those books were fantastic. Makes you kinda sad that bookbinding is such a lost art, ne? I also went to Forbidden Planet, London's largest comic store and gloried in its geeky wonderfulness. I only brought 4 LoTR postcards (including a beautiful one of Orlando Bloom as Legolas) though, but I might go back and buy the Smallville calender - just so I can cut out the slashy Clark saving Lex May image and use it as a poster. ^^;;; Anyway, I'm going for dinner tonight in Chinatown with my cousin Julia and going to see RENT (for the third time, though the first time in London) Then, I'm going to Oxford on Thursday or Friday to visit my cousin Peter and his mum Aileen. *grins* *goes off to find Chinatown*
