Ekat's no-good, horrible, terrible day
Feb. 5th, 2003 04:12 pmThe story begins like this: I knew my cartilage piercing was infected. It was read and had been hurting for the past couple of days. I had a plan for dealing with this. It involved frequent application of Ear Care solution and a trip to Claire's to get a replacement "sensitive" earring. This plan had always worked with my earlobe infections and I saw no reason why it shouldn't have worked now.
However, my piercing had other ideas. I woke up this morning to find it desperately trying to cover itself in skin and I couldn't Get. It. Out. Long story short, I ended up spending my morning and 50 euro for a doctor to get the earring out and antibiotics to clear up the infection. I no longer have a cartilage piercing and this makes me sad, because I liked my cartilage piercing. I also ended up missing lunch with Rebecca, which also makes me sad, because Rebecca is cool. When I finally got back into college, after grabbing a bite to eat by myself, I had to wait 15 minutes for the fees protesters to go by so I could get into the soc room and spill coffee on myself and talk about depressing things with Beky. *sighs* This day can't get any worse, can it?
Well.
At least, I hope not.
