Apr. 23rd, 2003 05:25 pmLast night I went to the Front Lounge with people to watch Liam and Connor pay the forfeit on the bet they lost by singing a duet in the karaoke - sober. They did very well, I think, and afterwards I danced with Brit and Colleen and had a grand time. ^_^
Today, I have discovered this: http://www.myhomelibrary.org/cartoons/cartoonists1.html Yes, these are comic bookplates and yes, you should print them off and stick them in your books right now.
I'm going to try to get some more studying done tonight, as well as get a start on writing my essay on St. Brighid for Irish Lit & Lang - but I'm getting end-of-the-yearitis. I'm impatient for all my classes to be over (even through I like them all and they're very interesting) and I hate studying because it's boring and lonely but I'm terrified of exams - so I keep meaning to study more, but keep finding reasons not to.
I also want to finish Hearts & Bones - that's a story I've been working on since February - but I can't seem to get the two characters to a reasonable conclusion. Methinks I like angst and torturing characters too much.
However, on the-actually-getting-stuff-done side of the ledger, I found out today (having set my Mom on Reslife) that I have a room in East Laville next year. *grins* So, now have a place to stay for summer and fall.
Now, I have to go to a meeting and then walk home and then get dinner and maybe by 8 actually work, damnit.
