(no subject)

On my lunch break now - I get a new LSU ID at 1 and meet with Dr. Noor at 2. The project I was supposed to be working on has already finished, so I'll get a new project then, perhaps working with some of the data from the Human Genome Project. I'm a bit nervous because I've never done anything like this before and my last lab experience was cutting open a dead fish (eww), but it should be good.

In other news, Amanda sent me an email! It's good to hear from her; she's so easy to talk to. Being back in Louisiana seems so unreal that it's nice to have evidence that Ireland was not just one long fever dream (of, course if I ever get my pictures developed that would be more evidence...) ^_~

And one last thing: The UK edition of Good Omens? Worth it, just for the cover and the British spellings.
