Well, this was a fine start to the week. I woke up at 9:45 AM with a fever and a sore throat, having missed my first class. I throw on some clothes, don't even think about breakfast and run to my next class. Ten minutes later, my body burning up, feeling like I'm going to faint, I arrive at class late and find out we have a quiz. I rush though the quiz, turn it into the professor without checking it, and go to work at the lab. I sit though the Monday lab meeting woozy, manage to do some work on my research, which looks like it's taking yet another downturn, but you know, who really wants a scientific paper published anyway? *SIGHS* Then, I go have my midterm conference with my short story writing instructor. I finally mange to find her cleverly hidden office and she goes over my work so far, shoots down my next story idea, and suggests something totally different. On the other hand, she does give me a B+/A- (it'll go down as a B+) for a midterm grade, which is apparently the highest grade she's willing to give.

But if the rest of the week goes like this, I may just have to shoot myself. Or work in international jewel theft ala
