ekaterinn: (wildly slashy ways)
I haven't been posting for a bit - partly because I've been generally unhappy and cranky and grrr and partly 'cause I haven't been able to concentrate on anything. Seriously. I haven't even read half of the [livejournal.com profile] ds_seekritsanta stories yet because I couldn't get up the energy to follow plot. Or characterization. Or porn. *g* But now I seem to be back on a more even kneel, with more energy. I have also Made A Decision, which I'll talk more about it as my plans finalise. *cryptic*

And now: fannish stuff!

Stuff people wrote for me, yes for me! *squees delightfully*:

[livejournal.com profile] ds_seekritsanta challenge:

Clueless wrote Kowalski Sings The Blues for me, a wonderful and absolutely believable RayK/Fraser AU. My favourite part:

When Fraser turned to look at Ray, they nearly bumped noses. "Ah."

"Ah." Ray could feel his breathing go a little funny.
"Ray..."

"I'm going to kiss you now," Ray informed Ben in a whisper.

[livejournal.com profile] yuletide challenge:

[livejournal.com profile] sjkasabi wrote Wrappings for me. It's a Bel fic, set just before "Labyrinth". And it's from Bel's somewhat sardonic and somewhat wistful point of view. And it's got Miles dressing up as Father Frost! What more could any Bujold fan want? (Except perhaps, another Vorksigan book?)

Gift Fic:

The lovely [livejournal.com profile] jade_starlight wrote happy!Remus fic for me here. Left me feeling warm and glowy. ^_^

Stuff I wrote:

I wrote The Long M&M-Flavored Night Of The Soul for [livejournal.com profile] cmshaw in the [livejournal.com profile] ds_seekritsanta challenge. Ray/Ray, includes fighting, fucking, domesticity and a wierd penchent for M&M's. *grins*

I also wrote Mother's Son for [livejournal.com profile] taelle in the [livejournal.com profile] yuletide challenge. This is a The Fire's Stone fic, set after the events in the book. (And if you haven't read the book, you totally should, 'cause it's the best book ever and it's by Tanya Huff and has canon slash and angst and cuteness, yes, yes, my precious).

*grins* Off to read books about trangression and homosexuality in order to write fannish essay about queerness in due South without it being 98% bullshit and 2% perving on Fraser in makeup. How much do I love my public library system? *This* much! *gives library big hug*
