Does everyone remember the John Sheppard That Thing We Don't Talk or Hug About Meme? Yeah, warm fuzzies, John Sheppard style was an idea that, while it didn't deserve the Nobel Prize, was at least mildly intriguing and an improvement over those ordinary love memes.

the_acrobat and I recalibrated the meme a bit and came up with The Rodney McKay's Backhanded Compliments Meme. Because McKay, if he had his own Snap Cups meme would naturally do it better. He wouldn't dish out a single un-necessary and not-well-thought-out compliment because he doesn't do that. No, no. Honesty all the way. That's how you do things right.
So go follow my own brilliant example and put your name down for backhanded compliments. After all, Dr. Rodney McKay is all about self-promotion - you can't claim credit without it! And do go and get all your friends to put their names down so that you can tell them about how they aren't always completely pathetic.
