Meme answers!
Jul. 17th, 2007 11:55 amBut first a warning: HP Spoilers? DO NOT WANT. I will be picking up a copy at a midnight party and reading throughout the night - I am doing my best to avoid spoilers without avoiding the Internet entirely until then!
That said, I'm finally doing this meme:
1. Leave me a comment saying anything random, like your favorite lyric to your current favorite song. Or your favorite kind of sandwich. Something random. Whatever you like.
2. I respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. You will update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You will include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be asked, you will ask them five questions.

lynnmonster asked me these cool questions:
1. Do you eat fish? (If not, do you eat any meats? If so, do you like it, love it, or merely tolerate it?)
I used to eat quite a lot of sushi, but I've cut back since I got food poisoning from bad tuna. ^^; I don't tend to like cooked fish, but I eat and enjoy meat (despite having been traumatized by a NYT article years back on how beef is prepared for human consumption). However, when I'm cooking for myself, I find it easier and cheaper to go completely veggie.
2. What would you say is your biggest fannish love of all time, even if it's not a current one?
Methos! Snarky, cute Immortal with a lovely accent (and an angsty past my teenage self just adored), what else could I ask for? I've never written very much Methos (or other HL) fic, but I've read a lot, and I keep coming back to him, despite the charms of the likes of Mckay, RayK, Duo, and so forth! *grins*
3. How long is your hair?
Very short, usually! (And unlike my default icon. *g*) When it grows out to chin length, I tie a scarf around it to keep hair out of my face. Eventually, it'll really start to bother me, and I'll go and get it all chopped off. *g*
4. What's a pet peeve of yours?
Writers who confuse discreet (as in a secret) and discrete (as in not continuous). I see it online a lot, and I'm always afraid I'll start doing it too!
5. What is something you can rely on to lift your mood?
My current favourite music. Beloved fanfic or books, especially if they're funny. Being online, particularly if I'm talking to friends. ^_^
