Happy Belated Canada Day to me (and to all Canadians on my flist, resident, expatriate or otherwise)! I spent Canada Day eating DARE Maple Leaf cookies, reading MacLean's, listening to Leonard Cohen, and speculating just how jealous certain American military/police officers would get if a particular Canadian scientist hooked up with a particular Mountie.
