the shine of it has caught my eye

I've been having a surprisingly good few days. Ate breakfast with alimaaneal yesterday. We talked about many creative things and she read the start of the original fic I'm working on and actually asked for more. *loves* I think she's one of the people I'm going to miss the most when I leave. I've started up Latin tutoring again, which means that, um, I should actually take a look at the cases and tenses again and make sure I know what I'm talking about!

I've also recently discovered a love for Dashboard Confessional and have been getting as many of thier songs as I can. Yum, new music. Have rediscovered Suzanne Vega too - very cool stuff. And so in the spirit of discovering new cool things (and gacked from daegaer) -

Hee! Thanks - though mklutz is already on my list cause she's the bestest. Might have to check out the book though - is it fantasy or mystery or what?
