Mmmm, chai. And chocolate muffins! (Guess where I am!) I've been feeling kind of disconnected ever since I came back from the conference, so I haven't been doing the kind of catching up online that I really need to do. I've more or less finished replying to recent comments and emails, and am going to start in on the older ones. Like cleaning out the fridge after six months of grad school life, I'm not quite sure what kind of alien life I'll find. *g*

On Monday, I was kidnapped by

alimaaneal, which was great fun because we got to talk and drink lemonade (somewhere Rodney McKay is grimacing in horror at the thought that lemons could be fun)! If anyone else wants to kidnap me and take me away from my Praxis studying, I'm willing.

I also saw the Highlander episode Unusual Suspects for the first time this weekend, and I was giggling all the way through. It's Fitz ep, set in the late 1920's, and a delightful romp in the style of an English house mysteries. Fitz is the first victim, but of course, he doesn't stay dead, but manages to rope Duncan into playing detective, with very mixed results! It's a season six episode, so if you're looking for something light in the often too-serious ethos of the later Highlander years, I would definitely recommend Unusual Suspects. *grins*

Finally, would anybody be interested in me doing a recs list once a week? Maybe a five recs every Friday, with varying themes (i.e. amnesia, first time, women-centric, sci-fi, etc.)? Let me know!
