rue du bagel!

Not dead, just teaching. *g* I survived my first week, and will be posting more on my teaching filter once I'm a bit more organized (comment here if you want to be added to it!). I've been wavering between exhausted and overly emotional for good two-thirds of the time and sleeping for the rest. I've also been gradually moving into narnia_girl's and my new apartment, which is really nice - two floors, lots of space and light.

I had a dream last night that I was walking in France with my mom and we were looking for a bistro called Rue du Bagel to have breakfast in! *g* Along the way, we passed Rue du Cannes, which was a bakery with a lot of fancy cakes in the window. No, I don't know why I persisted giving street names to eateries. In any case, I felt sufficiently European this morning to have a double shot of espresso, but they didn't give me a demitasse (essential for pretending you're in Italy and do not have grading to do, I find), so I added milk and sugar to get a makeshift latte. *g*

...Mainly because seriously what a good idea and why didn't I think of that?! I could have vented so much more that way. Huh.

I am moving to Cali, btw. 's for School, norealleeee, and not just research on the Prof Coz AU :)

Er, uh. The Humanities? Languages, Cultural Studies, etc. I don't want to get too into it, as I have this horrible irrational fear of someone tracking me down like a rabbit across the internets. Professional megalomania, I guess? (Email me for details if you like :)
