I am taken by the urge to watch me some West Wing and would like to know your favourite episodes! (I'm already planning to re-watch "20 Hours in America") Also, I never got past the fourth season - is there anything worth watching in the later seasons?

Noel. And I also liked Isaac and Ishmael a lot.

"Bartlet for America" is absolutely the best episode of anything ever. I WILL HEAR NO OBJECTIONS, RAAAR.

The show really lost its way in the fifth season when Aaron Sorkin left, which is also the point at which I mostly quit watching. However, in retrospect, "The Warfare of Genghis Khan" is nicely plotted and has some very good scenes involving one of the guest characters. Also "The Supremes," in which Glenn Close rocks the house. Some of the season seven presidential election arc is also kind of good, but since it necessarily involves the new candidates and their staff much more than it does the Bartlet White House, I found myself pretty disinterested. And after John Spencer died, I really had no further desire to go back to the show at all.

"The Supremes" is my favorite episode ever, and it's in the 5th season.
