Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians on my flist! I'm typing this on my mom's new (and first!) laptop because mine is dying. I suppose this is a sign from the gods to buy a Mac, since I refuse to have anything with Windows Vista. Having a relaxing time in NB, mostly reading and walking around, though I did go out to Fredericton to see M (charming as always!) and out to St. Martians to see miniature horses (so cute!). Off to my uncle's now for ribs and the traditional chilly Canada Day (oi, SJ, never change.).

Happy Canada Day!

I finally caved and ordered my new computer with Vista. The rep said that it will be replaced by Windows 7 in August and the upgrade will allow it to be backwards compatible. That's always been my main issue with Vista. So if you can wait, or tolerate Vista, it might well be worth it. And besides, I hate Mac. *grin*

Happy Canada Day! I am really super looking forward to seeing you again! It's been a busy week. Wish you were here for Canada Day... that would have been a good plan. We went to Oromocto to stalk my students in the parade and ended up getting free rickshaw rides. Amazing.
