I'm back from Canada, and thinking about cleaning at least some of the things. *g*

Actually, I'm trying to distract myself from thinking about my new job, which starts tomorrow. I'll be teaching reverse mainstreaming pre-K, with seven 4-year-olds with disabilities and seven without. This is a huge change from K-2 resource!

In some ways, it's a dream job: young kids, a good school, and a competent principal. I'm a bit nervous about screwing it up, though I know there's a steep learning curve in any new job. Positive vibes sent my way would be much appreciated!

Heh... know the feeling. Thankfully, I do very well figuring things out and flying by the seat of my pants.

BTW.. thanks again for letting me pick your brain. :-) I got my essay finished and handed in today... and I posted it on the teaching forums too. It's hard to have finished something you're so proud of and have only people around you who will pat your head and go "very well done" because they don't understand a word of what you wrote. Hehe.

*g* No problem, it was actually a lot of fun! I'm going to read your paper later tonight. And, heh, my senior honors thesis in high school was the same way - I wrote about Irish history and Celtic mythology and even the person who passed me didn't have a clue what I was talking about.

Hee, I couldn't imagine teaching high school, aside from one-on-one tutoring. Anyway, the first week is going well - thanks for the good wishes!

You, screw it up? Never. Not your dream job. Not anything that matters, really, other than maybe when we bake chocolate coffee cookies. I could really go for some of those right about now.
