So I should be writing fic, except I've been feeling a bit sick and tired and not much at all like writing. I'll have to finish the flashfic tomorrow and work a bit on original one. Not to mention my remix...when is that due again? And, um, update my resume. Gah. *makes face*

In the meantime, I shall bleat like a sheep and do the Ten Things I've Done That You Probably Haven't Meme:

1. Held a Canada Day party...in Louisiana
2. Traveled over 11 hours in a bus from Madrid to Santiago de Compostela
3. Founded a literary magazine
4. Danced with a Harry Potter look-alike (all he was missing was the scar!)in a gay club in Belfast
5. Was first author on an article in Genetica as an undergraduate
6. Discovered I was allergic to penicillin when I was 18 in London
7. Went out drinking with my friends and Jamie O'Neill (the author of At Swim, Two Boys) after he spoke at Trinity College
8. Got five bucks for dancing at O'Flannery's, an Irish bar in New Orleans, when I was five years old
9. Published four poems in a study abroad newsletter and received 30 euros for each
10. Seen RENT four times

I actually have held a canada day party in Louisiana! Except I'm not canadian...so we call it something else ;)...It's the honorary canada day/Liz's birthday party in Louisiana. YAY!

hmm I'm gonna bleat in your LJ instead of updating mine. ^_^

1. Seen a play in Bulgarian. (That play was actually over the heads of the people who spoke Bulgarian as well so I didn't feel so bad. It involved cement bricks, strange lighting, and twins in sheer but oddly cut dresses.
2. Written and produced a musical (and lived to tell the tale).
3. Eaten squid jerky. (Life just isn't the same after a nice long train ride and some squid jerky.)
4. Syncronized roller blading. (That was all Sarah's fault.)
5. Sat on the rafters of a bell tower as the bells were ringing. (There had to be some kind of safety risk involved but our choir director would take us up to the bell tower and let us sit on the bells as they rang in the six o'clock hour ^^;)
6. Convinced myself that the world was going to end... repeatedly (and yet I was surprised when it didn't.)
7. Gotten lost in a darkroom at the CDC. (But it was dark!!!!)
8. Created a recipe for cookies with coffee for flour (admittedly you might have done this before me if you'd thought of it first ^_^ )
9. Sniffed trees in Colorado. (Strangely enough these pine trees come in three flavors: vanilla, butterscotch, or caramel... how odd is that?!?)
10. Rescued a water moccasin from certain death. (It was a baby... how can you let a baby snake die?)

Heh! Well, he didn't have a scar on his forehead at least. He soon went off and danced with someone more his type, alas. I went off for more drink and dancing with people who looked like people and not book characters. *g*
