Because it was Miel, H didn't immediately knife her, rifle though her pockets, and disappear to the next station. But it was close thing.

"Happy Christmas, H!" she chirped annoyingly afterwards and flounced away still holding that strange green thing in her hand.

He rubbed at his lips, ignoring Daniel's amused grin. "Bah humbug," he muttered.
